Company History

Opening for business in 1982, Derrell Brooks founded Brandywine Printing in his basement. Several generations of Derrell's family had lived in the Brandywine community, so it was a natural name for the business since the company was located in "Brandywine".

Like a lot of family owned businesses, it really started out as a hobby and eventually turned into a business. This hobby unlike most actually made a profit! After several years of successful printing for profit, Derrell decided to make it official and Incorporate the business in 1986.

During this time, he involved his whole family in the business at one point or another. For most of them it was a way to make some extra money, or just to lend Derrell a helping hand to meet all the deadlines. His oldest son Derek, however took to the business, and decided to make a living of it.

Derek Graduated high school in 1994 and began selling printing in the mornings, and printing durning the afternoons. As the business grew, Derrell and Derek outgrew the basement, and decided to build a building in the back yard that was the new 2500 sq ft home of Brandywine Printing Inc.

In 1999, it was time for a huge step... Time to add team members! Before too long, the team had outgrown the building.

In 2006, Derek took over the operations from Derrell, and Brandywine Printing Inc. moved again. This time into a 7200 sq ft commercial building two miles away from the original location. This is where the printshop is located today, on Shiloh Road in south Forsyth County. From this location, the company has been positioned to help hundreds of companies grow and succeed by providing printed materials that improved their image or efficiency.

It seems like every company talks about the importance of customer service, but one of the lasting cornerstones of our business is the way our customers feel about doing business with us. Our dependability and reliability have become renowned in the Forsyth County and the area surrounding it. That's what we do, and Brandywine Printing currently has 1,200 active customers in the Forsyth County area.
